Stayed for 1 day and didn't want to leave, I would consider staying here again. Everything was perfect, great staff, stunning location just off old Roman bridge and the 8th best restaurant. The place had a quiet atmosphere. Really enjoyed my economy quadruple room with private bathroom.

The house is absolutely stunning, with jaw-dropping art and beautifully decorated rooms. The people were super friendly and made me feel so welcome. The owners were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The quadruple room with private bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The hostel had a great kitchen area for general use and a fantastic terrace with incredible views. The location was perfect, close to the center but also quiet. The hostel had a huge garden and offered a resort-like experience. The mom at the front desk was strict but to ensure a wonderful experience. I would definitely choose this place again over others in the area.

The lady who runs the place is absolutely lovely and very helpful with everything. the rooms are spacious and all beds have curtains for privacy. the hostel has a fantastic location by the river, with exceptional views of Silves from the balcony. the kitchen is nicely stocked and modern. Everything is very clean. I highly recommend Horta Grande for a perfect stay in Silves.

Fresh fruit from the garden and nearby supermarket for convenience. Close proximity to walking tracks and a short drive to the city or nature.

I always return to this spot. The staff helped me locate my forgotten things on my first visit. Horta Grande has all I need: Wi-Fi, off-site parking, a locker room, outdoor dining, a picnic area. I'm excited to return for my next trip!

Having a bathroom inside the room was a convenient feature. the location of the hostel was strategic, making it a great base for exploring the region.

One minor inconvenience was the lack of a fan in the room, which meant having to keep the doors open at night to create a draft. the proximity to a busy street into the center of town meant some noise from passing cars could be heard.

I had such a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city just across the river and next to the Roman bridge. I had no trouble finding parking nearby, and the hotel was easily accessible, even though it was off the beaten track of a dried up river. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Horta Grande in Silves. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the opportunity to harvest our own oranges, lemons, bananas, and other fruits from the beautiful garden. It truly made us feel like royalty in Silves. The facilities were excellent, and we especially loved the spacious kitchen and the terrace where we could relax in the evenings. The bathrooms were always clean, which was a big plus. Despite being close to a busy street, the peaceful atmosphere of the Orange Tree garden made up for any noise we heard. Additionally, Antonio, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during a heat wave and nearby fire. He provided fans for the rooms and guests, allowing us to sleep peacefully. our experience at Horta Grande was simply wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable stay in Silves.
